Weight loss mind games

I've lost about 25 lbs. since mid March, with my deficit set to lose about 1lb. a week, not worrying too much if I went over a little on a given day, and I've been averaging just under 1lb a week. Not bad, right? A few weeks ago, I thought I can do better than that, so increased my deficit to lose 2 lbs a week. I only had it there for a couple of days, but I felt deprived and really mad about it, and I'm still recovering! I don't need any advice, I'm getting back on track, but it's just so funny to me, what a huge impact our thoughts have.

yes, there is a big difference between 1 and 2 lbs a week! I keep toying with bumping up to 1.5 lbs a week and it's just too much for me.0
