Well I had to google since I was curious what it was - sounded like foreskin to me and I was wondering if it really was. I got a lot of links about the dangerous side effects - but in addition to that - magic pills don't make you lose weight. A calorie deficit will though.17

What do you want to use it for, weight loss? Nothing beats caloric restriction when it comes to loose weight.

It is not foreskin it is forskolin it burns fat not muscle, I seen it on the dr OZ show. Just wanted to know if there is someone who used it before and if it works.12

Dr. Oz. Seriously. That right there is a HUGE Nope - don't use it - he's a total quack and will sell anything to make a buck. And it doesn't burn fat. And no matter what it is called - magic pills do not work. A calorie deficit is what you need.
Sounds like you're pretty set on wasting your money on it though - so good luck to you.9 -

I will be blunt.
Your here, talking to all these successful dieters. Many of us have lost our weight (im down 110 lbs myself) Weve been there, done that, Tried everything. And all settled in on the one way to lose weight. Calorie deficit. If you sit here and hear everyone say it doesnt work, And then choose to think you know beter and buy it anyway, I hate to say it but thats you not being ready for weight loss. Which is fine. But its an excuse. And all it will get you is a lighter wallet. Accept there is no easy way to lose weight. No magic pills, Potions, Tricks. Move more, Eat less, Or preferably a mix of the two. It does take work. Track your calories accurately and trust the math- Not some Tv "doctor" who is known for selling total *kitten* gimmick products.
When your ready, Theres tons of us here willing to help you get yourself in a position to actually lose weight. Just have to ask. Dieting doesn't have to be miserable. I eat icecream and fries every day. But you do need to be willing and open to the actual facts- You may not be able to eat as much as you want of everything. But you can eat what youd like. No magic pills required.
But again, No it wont do anything for you.14 -
If you want to burn fat not muscle - sensible calorie deficit and strength training, with decent protein in the diet.
If you want to burn the contents of your wallet - whatever is suggested by Dr Oz.14 -

Say "no" to "weight loss supplements," "fat burners," always. And say "oh HELL NO" to anything Dr. Oz says.12 -
Okay, I have personally TRIED it.
I lost water weight, that was it. And in fact, once I stopped taking it, I gained all the weight back right away.9 -
Thank you for the feedback I'm living in South Africa and didn't know about it (dr oz and the pills) and thank you for taking me out and saying bad things to me, I will now be able to lose weight by doing calorie counting, does anyone have a 1200 calories / keto diet that I can try please let me know.6

You have just gone from one crazy idea to another. At 1200 and a male you would be severely undereating which could have many unwanted problems down the track. Keto is also not a magic pill for weightloss. If you can live without many carbs for the rest of your life go for it but many find it too restrictive.
Simply enter your data into MFP with a goal to lose 1 pound or 1/2 kg a week, keep the default macros and eat that amount. If you exercise add that and eat back at least half of the calories given to you. Eat the foods you enjoy but in smaller amounts.5 -

I wasn't specifically promoting that particular study nor substance
I was pointing out that there are ergonomic substances that can aid when one is dieting
I do get utterly sick of people just repeating 'calorie deficit'
now run along, ergo log is an enormous resource and there are literally hundreds of thousands of
medical research papers on there
dieters would be well advised to delve deeply in there
Nice condescension there.
Seems to me @HeidiCooksSupper hit the nail on the head with her review.8
