They say that losing weight is easier if you make small changes. So I’m challenging myself to make one small, meaningful, thoughtful change every week. If anyone wants to join in, please do.
18/10. Reduce fat intake by switching to 10% from 18% cream for my morning coffee.

Changes can be big or small, the point is that they shouldn't be overwhelming, but they should have an effect over time. What's big and small, overwhelming and effective, is subjective, individual, habitual and situational. The changes have to be actionable for you, now, and feel meaningful for you, now. For me, returning to full fat products has been part of my success (weightloss and maintenance, general improvement of health and mood).

Thanks for the advice. Yes, fat is very important to a successful plan for healthy eating. I LOVE fat and fatty foods. My problem is that there’s too much fat in my diet. So finding a few places where I can cut back a bit will be good for me.

It's true! I've always tried to make drastic changes with a new life, new me mentality. Its much too unrealistic that way. I've slowly made new diet choices like replacing vanilla yogurt with plain yogurt when shopping at the grocery store. I personally need a low sugar diet and much more protein. All I ate was carbs and sugar, yum! After some rollercoasting around I finally broke some old habits. Instead of eating to comfort myself I workout or practice something meditating. I have been running a mile daily and plan to add in more as I get stronger. The consistent exercise helps with negative cravings too. I get to eat more the more I exercise so that's also a great motivation!!
