Glucomannan

Hi all -

Just wondering if anyone has used supplements in combination to diet and exercise? I am hearing that Glucomannan supplements are the safest and most effective o my if in conjunction with diet and exercise. Anyone have experience with this?

    Its a soluble fiber pill, also called Konjac root. The idea is that you would take it, say, twenty minutes before a meal with a LOT of water. You can’t put as much food in a full stomach.

    I use the powdered glucomannan , I use it to thicken things and make my smoothies smoother . you can make a great citrus herb salad dressing using crystal light orange and water thickened with Konjac powder and then add wine vinegar and Italian seasoning plus salt pepper and garlic to taste ! the thickener replaces the oil and the citrus flavor is great on a green salad . I bought the flour to try making noodles but I have not tried the noodles yet
    I discovered it when I started the diet , the glucomannan and other fibers I am 7using are the only way I have lost weight so far 158 days staying in my calorie range and it is all because of the fibers keeping me from being ravenous.. I have now lost 34 lbs in the last 158 days my goal is set at 1 lb a week

    I tried it, it had zero effect on my hunger. Even taking 6 or 7 pills and heaps of water.
