Been feeling down lately and just looking for some motivation not just to do with bodybuilding or food, just life in general, a list we can all read from time to time, so if you have any quotes or kind words, It'd really make my week and maybe some others a lot brighter :) thanks

Don't know the origin of this-

Perfect is the enemy of the good.

    You can.

Clear your mindset, once you change that everything will change.

    Clear your mind of can’t.

What if I fall? Oh, but my darling, what if you fly?

The wise sage Curly once said "I try to think, but nothing happens."

As I get older, those words have become prophetic.

“What we face may look insurmountable. But I learned something from all those years of training and competing. I learned something from all those sets and reps when I didn’t think I could lift another ounce of weight. What I learned is that we are always stronger than we know.”

    Arnold Schwarzenegger

    One of my favourites

“The body benefits from movement, the mind benefits from stillness”

I heard this earlier this week. It was a refreshing reminder in a particularly unmotivated time to take a moment for myself in the midst of the chaos that my life can become.

My all-time favorite that I use daily, by Charles Swindoll:

    Attitudes
Words can never adequately convey the incredible impact of our attitude toward life. The longer I live the more convinced I become that life is 10% what happens to us and 90% how we respond to it. I believe the single most significant decision I can make on a day-to-day basis is my choice of attitude. It is more important than my past, my education, my bankroll, my successes or failures, fame or pain, what other people think of me or say about me, my circumstances, or my position. Attitude keeps me going or cripples my progress. It alone fuels my fire or assaults my hope. When my attitudes are right, there's no barrier too high, no valley too deep, no dream too extreme, no challenge too great for me.

    Great thread!

If you're tired of starting over, stop giving up.

Whether you think you can or you cant..you're right.
