Hi, I am just starting the logging portion of my weight loss journey, thanks to my sister who told me about this website:) I am looking forward to this journey and finding out some good info. I was wondering if anyone knows if the body bug is worth the money they are asking for it or are there other economical ways to keep track of heart rate etc.?

Not sure about the body bug, but you can get a decent heart rate monitor for less than $100 that will track your heart rate and calories burned during your workouts.0

I had a body bug 2 years ago and loved it, until my ex room mate stole it. Anyways I think it was worth the money. But a lot of what having it does you can do here. With a decent heart rate monitor and logging your food. I just miss knowing exactly how many calories I burned that day. Bcuz even a regular heart rate monitor and pedometer isnt going to know that. It also measure sweat and rate of excretion. Anyways, long story short. If I had the money to spare I would get another one.0

I think I may break down and buy one. The one I have now does not have many features except taking my heartrate.0

If anyone has the time, can you explain how a body bug works? and if there are per month fees? or if that is even mandatory if there are? I can't seem to find good information, or maybe I'm techno challenged0
