Hiii,

I have considered buying myself some protein to aid muscle recovery quicker so I can train more efficiently on a daily basis:happy: , I find myself getting really sore, and I feel protein will help.

I was just wondering  if any of you women are taking protein?
What kind if so and how much, is it online etc:drinker: ,

Be brilliant to hear feedback :P

Muchos love:heart:

I use pure protein plus, it is only sold at Sams club but it is a great price, low carb, high fiber, and has omega-3 added. I make smoothies with a scoop of that, a cup of almond milk, and a cup of frozen fruit ( blueberries, peaches, banana), it turns into a milk shake. amazing!

I just realized you are not in the states and don't have a Sams Club. I have heard that for protein powders you want a high ratio of protein per serving. so 20 grams of protein in a 40g scoop is only 50% protein, the poster said to shoot for 70%

I'm a Veggie and I just started using Hemp Protein Powder a couple days ago:smile:
  • I use Maxitone Sculptress (powder to make shakes). They're good for muscle repair and also fill you up. I usually have one either an hour before I train or if I train after work, I'll have it after my session to keep me going until dinner time! :)

I use Sun Warrior unflavored. I may try a hemp one next.

I have two, phd whey diet in vanilla creme and also belgium chocolate. Both really tasty. I have them for brekkie and after a workout. I think they really help. You can get them from amazon!

Added you a link, my boyfriend has the whey protein from Holland and Barrett but says mine is much nicer. At the moment H&B have the big tubs half price at £15. He likes his but says mine makes a tastier smoother drink (think his is a bit chalky)
