What's Your Motto?

Never Quit
I was Overweight leading up to morbidly obese from age 39 to 65. Every time I went on a Diet or joined WW I would quit after losing weight and gain it all back plus more.
THIS TIME I began in January 2013 at age 65 and have not quit. I have lost 178# (376 to 198) and know what will happen if I go back to my old bad eating habits.
NEVER QUITTING!

Best one so far, so welcoming and considerate of others. Good motto1 -
Mine is actually a quote from the Great John Wayne:
“Courage is being scared to death, but saddling up anyway” – John Wayne0 -
This quote changed how I look at everything in my life a few years ago. Who decided what things are "supposed to be"? Your life is what you make of what you have0 -

Always look on the bright side of life.
"Life's a piece of *kitten*, when you look at it. Life's a laugh and death's a joke, it's true."1 -
When I'm on my game it's "you got this!" When I'm struggling it's "hang in there."1

Thanks @ Jimb376mfp tater tots are just a fun little snack I like to indulge in every once and a while but to participate in the task at hand I’ll share something my father taught me when I was just a shy fellow in junior high, I was too afraid to ask a young doe to the dance and he said “son life is going to keep everything it can from you, but if you dare to ask you may find it’s answer may just surprise you” and so that year before the dance I went right up to that jivette and asked her “come on snake, let’s rattle” and we partook in a very quick and awkward dance LOL! My father might have had me rehearse that one but the premise remains - nothing ventured nothing gained!0

Attitude.
I know that isn't a motto, per se, but I think the best summary of my belief that Attitude is the most important factor in your control would be this by Swindoll:
"The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness, or skill. It will make or break a company ... a church ... a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude ... I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me, and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you ... we are in charge of our Attitudes."
I have the word Attitude tattoo'd on my back that I got when I was 18. It has been important to me through my whole life.
