Stuck

I have been on MFP for quite awhile - have actually logged in for 826 days in a row ! Not sure when to stop ! I'm getting stuck though. I have lost 54 lbs and am noticing I'm creeping back up - I'm up 10 lbs in the past 6 months. I eat the exact same breakfast and lunch every day except for the weekends - 26g pretzels, 1 oz smoked turkey, 1 oz gouda cheese, 4 triskets, 1/2c cottage cheese and 6 cherry tomatoes, I was including a sugar-free fruit cup but now don't have enough time at work to fit it all in. Dinners are reasonable. I try for 4-6 oz meat, salad with light dressing, and veggie. I was walking 1 hr a day but work hours have changed so now down to 30 min a day. I try and walk over an our on the weekends. Not sure what is not working ? It was so easy and now I'm struggling. I will be honest and admit I have a couple glasses of wine or comparable in the evenings but I lost the 54 lbs without giving that up. Not sure what to do ? I was within 10 lbs of reaching my goal and am now looking at 20 again. Frustrated.

Buy a food scale. Use it.

Did you adjust your calorie goal as you lost?

If your activity decreased you'll need to consume a bit less in order to maintain.

Have you adjusted your rate of loss or your intake since you started losing? As your weight comes down your TDEE (Total calorie burn for the day) comes down.

If you've gained 10lbs over 6 months you're eating around 200 calories above maintenance daily. So you either need to reduce your intake or increase your output.

You should be looking at a rate of loss of 0.5-1lb per week with 20lbs. Reducing the walking probably accounts for some of your deficit gone and then if you've started having a couple of glasses of wine that will easily put you into a surplus.

All the factors that could be effecting you now is what everybody already stated. Main one to point was if you have reevaluated your calories now that you lost weight? Also, are there any other factors going on in your life? what about less sleep, or stress. Those can also affect you.

I started at 1530 calories and adjusted it down to 1200 calories a day. My goal is 10,000 steps a day which I hit religously for the past 2 years. I'm back working at achieving that again. I have been snacking on mixed nuts. Maybe too much fat ? I do use my scale all the time.

How many grams of nuts have you had today?

Nuts are quite high in calories. If you aren't weighing them you might be consuming more than you think. You might want to consider switching it up with maybe some lowfat string cheese or something like that. Still good protein but not as much fat. The nuts really add up fast.

Cutting your walking in half will make a difference. Also where you are walking can make a difference. If your old route was more rugged you might have been burning more calories then than just time or steps would account for. At least you are on track and watching it. Start measuring and weighing everything and log all the extra bites, tastes etc. I have found that is an issue for me and is causing me to stall because I have gotten lazy.
