Do not mention Pokemon Go to me. I tragically have a windows phone and haven't been able to play that once and it crushes my soul every time I hear about it.

Actually mine is something I taught my kids.. People will tell you their truths and try to push them on you. I wanted my kids to be free thinkers and decide for themselves. I wanted them to know its ok to think differently.. you have that right.1 -

people who study religion are theologians
people who believe in Jesus are religious
jus wanted to make sure yr targeting the right group with yr condemnation
In my case, I'm both, I study apologetics as a hobby. I could even tell you about how the non-locality of sub-atomic particles prove that we live in a digitial universe, not an analog one, thus connecting back to Genesis 1:1 or how the elasmotherium is described in the Books of Numbers, Psalms and Job or how Holograms can be an excellent analogy for the Bible it self.1 -

You're right, my statement was misguided and I was mistaken. I find orthodoxies to be repugnant, each professing knowledge of truth and a God's words.. and I do think the study of religion is necessary and needed if only to understand why we are so consumed by it.. I do believe in God as it were but not as I believe most imagine and have faith their God is like..

Internet is filled with vapid, lonely people who feel powerless in their own life. That flag button is a sad cry for help and a way to fill the emptiness.

would that be trying to prove that creationism is somehow scientifically backed or would that be trying to say the bible is allegorical in nature? i don’t understand
I put it this way, you can't build a house without a blueprint...well the laws of physics (gravity, thermodynamics, etc) are the blueprint...well the house and blueprint just don't make themselves. God did it.

i think order arises spontaneously from chaos because the laws of physics drive the emergence of complex systems
but i’ll agree to disagree :flowerforyou:
No prob. There's always room to theorize.
