I am trying to follow a keto diet where I have 5% carbs, 75% fats & 20% protein & 1900 calories a day. My sodium intake though is around 1400 g. Is this extremely high or is it going to throw off my keto. Can anybody help me?

Do you mean 1400mg? If so, that is extremely low for keto and you will get the keto flu.
Join the Low Carbers Daily Forum group. They have lots of info on keto.

Don't follow % .. use grams. Keto is just the reduction of carbs to induce ketosis. Sodium is a necessary electrolyte regardless of the diet. Aim for 5g (5000mg) at a minimum. That can be obtained by liberally salting your food, drinking broth, adding salt to water, etc.

If you have excess body fat, that will provide part of the "high fat" in the diet. You should also aim for an adequate/higher protein intake to reduce lean mass loss.

About 3000-5000mg (3-5g) of sodium is about the starting point for sodium on a ketogenic diet. You will probably need more.

There are 2300 mg of sodium in a teaspoon of salt. You'll need roughly 2 tsp a day of salt.
