Looking for short girls support

Hello im 5'0 feet tall and want to loose a total of 30 pounds. I feel like its sooo much harder for us short girls to loose weight since our calorie intake should be less compared to a tall girl

It is! I am 5'1" and MFP doesn't give me as many calories to eat. I'm almost at my goal now but have dropped over 30lbs. The best way I found was to be active - even if its only a 30 minute walk a day it gives you that extra wiggle room to eat a bit more and keeps you sane!7

Im 4ft 9 and it always seems like everything is harder. My mom and i weigh exactly the same and i look like an oompa and she looks like a model! I would greatly appreciate any support and i would glady be there to support you!7

Sooo hard!!! I'm 4ft 10 I hardly eat anything and weight won't shift. Only upwards waaaaa!!!!0

I'm 5'1.5 lol that half counts. But yes over the years its getting harder and harder to loose weight. I love sweets and sugar but eating natural sweets has calmed the cravings. Mango is my favorite.3

I'm also 5' even, but I have a fairly active job, so I count myself lucky that I'm not quite stuck at the 1,200 calorie goal. Feel free to add me0

I guess I'm very active, I've always found I can eat quite a bit.
I'm currently 5'1'' 185 lbs and losing over a pound a week at 1800 calories.
I was eating 1400 a few years ago and my average loss was over 2 lbs a week and I got down to 135. (Looking back that was far too little for me and not sustainable.)0 -
5'3" and have lost 60 lbs--just looking to maintain--I'm here for life! At maintenance calories, if I'm sedentary, I burn 1400. I have to be super active!4

I am 5'1 and it seems almost impossible to lose the weight. I just started my journey and I'm hoping I can also find other like me so we can support and motivate each other!7

I'm 5'1 and I am able to eat a pretty good amount. You just have to increase activity which I find kinda comes naturally now. I WANT to do more.

5’3 here (so tall for this thread, lol) but older so weight loss is a struggle. I couldn’t live on 1200 anymore and after 6 months the almost .5 pound a week weight loss wasn’t even worth it for how starving I was.
For me personally IF ( intermittent fasting) has been the game changer. I do 5:2 IF. - - two days a week I eat 500 calories which means the other five I get to eat like a normal person - so about 1550 to 1600 calories. I’m losing weight more quickly even though my weekly calories are the same and I am not hangry all the time.
I know this way of dieting (and eating, as I fully plan to keep eating in this way after I reach goal weight) would NOT be for everyone, but I feel back in control over my life and diet and not deprived all the time, so just thought I’d share that.
