I give. I can't find it. Can anyone find an accurate number for kcal/oz in Quezalteca licor tamarindo (25% alc.) ? There is an entry, but it seems way too low to be accurate. If someone does, I'd appreciate the source. Thank you!

I've got no source for that particular spirit, but using a little math and the USDA nutrient database, I can suggest a range it should fall into, which would at least let you evaluate whether the entry you found is reasonable.

An unflavored distilled spirit at that ABV (25%) would be in the neighborhood of 40 to 45 calories per fluid ounce (which I think is roughly 150 to 160 calories per 100 ml, if you use the metric system for drinking). But the tamarindo flavor would add sugar, I would think. Pure tamarind juice would add close to another 20 calories an ounce (call it 75 cals per 100 ml). I doubt they would use that much juice in a flavored spirit, but I haven't tasted it. I think you'd be safe viewing 65 cals per fluid ounce (225 cals per 100 ml) as the top amount it could possibly be, and 40 cals (per fluid ounce (160 cals per 100 ml) as the lowest amount. If you're only having one shot (whether straight or in a mixed drink), it's not a huge margin of error.
