YOU have to be strict with yourself. It’s hard, but you can do it

its not up to other people to make you do stuff - unless you pay a personal trainer...

And unless you pay the personal trainer to follow you round 24/7 and stop you eating excess food they still won't necessarily help.
If you want it bad enough, you'll do what it takes to make it happen2 -
Try to find a few good friends on here. That can help. I'll send you a friend request, but I'm struggling myself at the moment. (Trying to get back on track.)
Reading these message boards helps me a lot although I don't agree with everything that's posted. I find a lot of good ideas, inspiration, and support just by reading/posting.
A Few Random Ideas:
- If personal support would really help, have you considered Weight Watchers (not a fan myself) or a similar program?
- Is there someone in real life you can team up with, exercise together, etc.?
- Hospitals/libraries/towns sometimes have weight loss or healthy eating programs.
- Have you thought about seeing a dietician or signing up for some cooking classes?
- Is there a sport you've wanted to try?

No one can be "strict" for you.
Nor will you succeed in just beating yourself into submission. You need a variety of strategies. Tough it out discipline has a place. But you can wear it out in a hurry if you over use it.

Yes!! That’s what I do. I also have a Facebook group if you want to plug into that. Also grab some friends to help you stay on track.0

Do you believe you can achieve the results you want? If you knew for certain that if you stick to your diet and workout that you’ll 100% be where you need to be 6 months from now, would you do it then? If so, find/follow someone and get as much insight from them so as you believe you can do it.
