Frustrated...

I have been watching what I eat and exercising for a couple of months now, and still have not seen much change on the scale which is sooo frustrating:grumble: I know that for a while I was not eating enough calories in a day (usually was 1000 cals or less some days) and I have changed that since realizing that issue. Since then i have been eating at least 1200 cals a day, sometimes a bit more than that but still close to that amount. I just seem to be floating around the same weight and I am beginning to get a little discouraged. I know that weight loss doesn't occur overnight but I would have thought that by now there would be some change. I think I'm stuck and I'm not really sure how to fix it :frown: I have been cutting back on my carbs more and upping my protein intake, and I never go over on anything but protein and sometimes a little on fiber, and I drink plenty of water every day and ONLY water...no soda, tea, or anything whatsoever. Just don't know what else I can do from here.

    Hey,

Make sure what you are eating is actually fueling your body and not empty calories, try and up the physical activity with weights (weight lifting will help you to shed and shape faster than cardio any day) and remain pacient, it takes some time to get into the swing of things but you will get there.

It can be so frustrating! I was in the same boat..over the last two months have lost 7lbs but expected more of a change. My husband was able to lose 30lb in 2.5months...not fair!

I workout from home and I do have some hand weights I use, but I love the exercise ball. I have used that to do the Denise Austin dvds or workouts I have seen in magazines. Once I incorporated those with the elliptical I have noticed my body toning up. Still no change on the scale but inches have been lost!

    Hope that helps
