Can anyone tell me why I have been working out everyday cardio and weights and eating less than my calorie goal and I am still the same weight as I was almost one month ago?! Seems like I am doing all this work just to maintain, but I am trying to lose ten more pounds! HELP!!!!

If you're eating less than your goal, it sounds like your body isn't getting enough food to support everything you're doing!0

I agree with Dabbles, you have to eat to lose weight. Sounds crazy but totally works. I went through the same thing.0

with ten pounds left to lose it is going to come off very slowly and you want to up your calories as well. If your body isn't getting enough calories to fuel itself it's going to stall you out...............well you are already stalling, try upping your calories a bit and change up your exercise. Also you can take a couple days off exercise and dieting try resetting your body.0

Keep in mind that if you're lifting weights, you're adding weight back through muscle. But this is good -- muscle eats more calories and tones your body. Pay less attention to your weight in this case, and more towards your body's measurements. The scale isn't going to be reliable.0

I agree. For myself I find that if I am struggling with not losing weight or have gained weight I start looking at my calorie intake. Am I eating enough? Everyone needs a minimum of 1200 calories net. If I find that I am eating the calories I need I start looking at the times I have been eating. Have I been eating a good breakfast within a short period of time after I get up? Most health specialists recommend eating within 20 minutes of waking to jump start your metabolism. I get sick if I eat before I workout so I do my 45 minute workout and then eat breakfast.
Usually if I look at those two things and make changes I will begin to see progress. Good luck0 -

I agree, the less weight you have to lose, the slower the progress will be.0 -
If you open your diary it is easier to help.0

Sometimes if you eat to little you body wants to reserve calories for preservation. We are built for survival and in the past our ancesters went through many famines. try to eat what you should and see what happens.

You could try monitoring your body fat percentage. You may find that though your weight is staying the same, you body fat percentage is decreasing.0

You are set to lose 2 lbs/week with 10 to go? That's way too high. Set it to .5 lb/week as an ideal! You're not eating enough!0 -
