Funny thing about IF

So because my mother never made us breakfast ever I have apparently been doing IF the first half of my life. I was actually pretty thin until later in college when I started eating breakfast because I thought it was necessary for health.

I even went through a period where I kind judged my mother.

But now... Now people are saying going without breakfast is a good thing? *head on desk*

if you want to eat breakfast, eat breakfast, if you don't, don't.

its neither good not bad, just a preference.

Kids should have breakfast. I'd still judge your mother. ;)

But yes, if you ate exactly the same at lunch and dinner but then added another meal, you'd be in a calorie surplus and therefor gain. Skipping breakfast isn't necessarily a "good thing" but it can help you stay in a calorie deficit, or at maintenance, if it works for you.

Skipping breakfast is neither good or bad. It's just a style of eating that works for some people. I prefer skipping breakfast so I can have a bigger dinner in the evening. Meal timing doesn't really matter, unless you're an athlete (or someone with a medical condition) who needs calories at specific points during the day.

Same although I weighed less in college. I was a student athlete though.

I never eat breakfast, only drink coffee. Makes me really look forward to a big lunch and dinner!
