My goal is to lose a lot of fat , mainly in my big fat beer belly , 2100 calories a day has been set by the app and going to do a 40/30/30 , should I still deduct 500 calories or just don’t eat more than the 2100 calories a day , than you for you help

I'm kinda new at this myself but from what I've read, what the app gives you is whay you should eat. Trust the numbers and log properly and you'll get there. It allocates less when you have more to lose (obviously) so there's that to consider as well

if my fitness pal gives you 2100 then thats what you eat your deficit is already deducted when you entered how much you wanted to lose.

Eat right up to the limit. Try to hit your protein goal, let the other two macros fall where they may.

    Eat to the 2100 limit.
Get a food scale and use it for all solids, liquids cups and spoons.
If you exercise, eat those calories too.
If you are not losing at the rate you expect, check the veracity if your entries, if that is not the problem, cut your exercise cals by 25%.

    Cheers, h.
