Ha ha. Why are there so many running threads? Doesn't anyone read threads with similar topics and try to apply the info to their situation? Just a thought....

It's like the daily posts about how to tone abs, or the hourly "stuck" posts in the Diet forum. Some of our members are Unique Snowflakes™ with a special situation unlike what others have experienced.
Or maybe the search button and sticky posts aren't visible enough?5 -
In that case why do the forums exist at all? The discussions here exist in many other places and the answers to nearly all questions can be found with a google search. Why do people often tell each other the same stories or discuss the same things?
People like to connect with each other about their own personal journey, and ask others about theirs. Also knowledge evolves. If I listened to forum advice from the late 90s I'd still be using trans-fat laden margarine and being terrified of eggs.5 -
You have a problem with running questions but not the 50,000 keto threads that pop up each day that ask LITERALLY the same thing?5

I didn't say that, lol. It's just that the last few days literally half of the threads showing on the first page of this forum have practically the same title/question!1 -

I suspect that people don't really appreciate that the advice they're getting is contrary to a lot of what's out there. The HIIT is magic narrative doesn't come with advice that's essentially run slowly, and it doesn't need to hurt.
Running was used as a punishment for many at school and they're left with the impression that it's about thrashing yourself as quickly as possible to get an effect.
Not helped by non runners stepping in with some of the nonsense that they spout as well.4
