So i've been doing great keeping on track with myself and eating healthy. I cut out all liquids except water and i work out five times a week. I'm loosing weight slowly and carefully. So I was wondering if anyone knew why my stomach has been making strange noises. They aren't like hungry growls though. they are just loud squeels of sound. People look at me like im crazy. It hasn't happened until i've been loosing weight.

It is probably just that it is digesting different foods. I am not to sure what to say, they should subside soon!0

Your stomach noises are called borborgymus. Your stomach contracts in 3-D like a pastry bag. When it's fairly empty, it will still contract to mix up any undigested food parts in the stomach acid. When the fluid gets squeezed all the way down to the bottom but the valve there is closed, it squirts back up to the top corner of your stomach. That's what you're hearing.0

WHOA that was interesting! I always wondered what it was, I always get this. I just never thought to look into, or ask, what it really was0 -

This used to happen during my university lectures and was so embarrassing.. I'd be having a 6am breakfast because I had a lecture at 8am and even though I wasn't hungry my stomach would be rumbling and making whale noises through the whole class haha. I always wondered what was happening so that's interesting to know0
