Anyone out there doing the Turbo Fire??? I'm on day three (second attempt at the program) Fell off the wagon a few months ago. Really really really want to stick to it this time but finding myself whining that "my feet hurt boo hoo". I'm wearing good shoes, oh well....if I just keep chuggin' at it I'm sure it'll get better. And MFP has set my calorie goal at 1240! How the heck am I suppose to survive on that? It's not even supper yet and I only have 397 cals left! I haven't put in my exercises yet though, will my allowed calories go up once I do? Any by the way, if you've already seen this post from me is only because I'm not sure what the heck I'm doing!!! Blog, post, blah blah blah. Not sure what I'm doing here (I'm a newby!)

Hi Rhonda! I am a Turbo junkie, though I have not tried Fire, yet. If your knees can stand it, try going barefoot. I have the sore feet issue, as well. Mostly due to doing the workout in running shoes vs. cross trainers, I think. I kicked my shoes off in frustration a couple of days ago and Voila! No more foot pain! Though I do have a wee blister on my big toe
As to your calories, yes, when you enter your exercise calories, you will earn some back.
Good luck!0 -
I've gone through Turbo Fire, & yes once you post your exercise calories burned you will get "extra" calories you can eat. I tend not to eat all of my exercise calories back.
You can do this, your feet should get used to the jumping around if you have good shoes. I've started P90X & missed the energy of Turbo Fire so I add it about 3 times a week or more when I have the time.0 -
With a bit of practice, you will learn to land "lighter" on your feet. I know it sounds silly, but once I figured it out I was able to enjoy TF again:flowerforyou:0

I started Turbo Fire and then stopped the 'program'. I still use some of the DVDs for my day-to-day workouts though. I can't seem to keep myself on track and to a schedule with it. I enjoy running and Turbo Fire didn't leave much room for that!
When you do cardio (like turbo fire) you have to add the calories you burn back to your total for the day. I wear a heart rate monitor when I do the workouts to find out how many calories I need to replenish! Make sure you're fueling your body enough!0 -
I'm one week 9. I've lost 8lbs and haven't been too strick on my calories. I eat ALL my exercise calories back (and then some). I just got a heart rate monitor yesterday. Gave me a LOT more calories than how I previously entered it (which was "kickboxing" in the MFP database). I love it. Fun, effective.0
