    I have someone who can't do sit ups or crunches due to a lower back problem. Any suggestions for what she could subsitute?

    I also thought weigh ins are Sunday/Monday

    No the weights are for points. . . . so I am assuming that we are just going to post weekly to our individual forums rather than be sending them all to Gary?

    And the Before pics are we to keep those till the end when we have the after photos???

    Also I have 3 team members that have not given their starting weights? My thought was if I don't hear anything by the end of the day. . Replace them??? I would hate to lose points on the first day because of teamates that really were not into it. . .

    What are your thoughts on this???:frown:

    I have 3 no shows too. I think Gary has a list of alternates. I think the pics were to be accumulated by us then sent to Gary once we have after pics. Not sure when we are supposed to send Gary our weigh in results.

    Here are some questions we still need answers on I believe:

    1. Can we send the weights 1st thing monday am? or does this have to be sunday night?

    2. Does it matter which day team members do the exercises or in what order? Can someone take Monday off and start Day 1 on Tuesday for instance? Do the daily challenges have to be done in order or can they be mixed up?

    3. We do not report the points from weight loss until the end of the month correct? We will simply submit our weekly totals from daily and weekly challenges?

    This is all correct. Its 6 days worth of exercise. I don't care which ones they do which day. Its about them moving and doing more than they were already doing!

    Let me see if I can clarify some of the questions.

    Weigh ins are handled by team captains. People need to have weights to you today if possible as a starting weight.
    Modify exercises where necessary. Just do something more or different.
    Exercises can be done in any order.
    Team points are calculated as follows.

    Daily exercise = 1 point
    Weekly Challenges = calories, water (are only good for bonus points) If everyone does them then your team gets 5 extra points.
    Weight loss at the end of the week = 1 point per pound lost.
    Example.

    I did each exerice for all 6 days = 6 points individual points
    Everyone on my team did all 6 days daily exercise = 5 total team points (no individual)
    Everyone on my team did the weekly challenge (water, calories) = 5 Total team points (no individual)
    I lost 18lbs (hey it could happen) I get 18 points

    So for my individual score I would have 24 (weight loss + daily exercise) My team would then get a Bonus of 10 points.

    On sunday you will add all your individual scores, all your team bonus points and then mail me ONE TOTAL>

    SO I should see something like this. Team Weapons of Mass Reduction = 1000 points for week 1. That's it. I don't need to know about the individuals scores. At the end of Aug.31st. You can post each beginning weight and each ending weight and we'll see what top 3 people we have. If anyone else would like to donate to the prize package I'm open for it. I've had a couple people donate Gift Cards to Mary Kay. I'd love to have a couple GNC, ITunes cards. Even for $5. So if you hear of anyone that is willing to donate you let me know. For obvious reasons NO CASH or anything that could be misconstrued as shady.

    I hope this makes sense.

    I'm also going to post tomorrow my verdict on team weight loss percentages vs lbs lost for you skinny minny teams out there.

    This might work as we now have some teams that are short people. Any arguments and ideas on how to calculate this are appreciated . (For or against)

    Lastly you guys are doing a phenomenal job. I was off work today and have a small injury (nothing to worry about) but I will be at my PC all day tomorrow. So fire away anything you need through the MFP Mail. I check it the most.

    Ok so each member does NOT get 1 point per day for drinking their water and staying under calories, instead this is a team effort ONLY.


    Also what do we do with the pics? hold onto them until the end.

    Yeah the team pics is more for them. I thought I might have a volunteer that might want to put that into a little movie. Before and after with their screename! Be kinda cool. Whatever works though!.

    I have 3 who gave me start weights, but have not heard from since... I posted that I was giving them today but....:ohwell: Once I KNOW they are not participating what do I do? I have a couple "lurkers" that are hanging out but obviously don't count towards points.... if there are no more people on the wait list, can we ask them to join?

    Hey Team Captains,

    If you did our 100 jumping jacks challenge along with your extra mile today, great job...below is TEAM CURVETTES mini challenge for tomorrow along with the regular challenge:

    Wednesdays challenge is 50 situps/ab crunches***our mini challenge will be an extra mile run/walk/jog, and 50 each of reverse crunches, side bends (50 each side), jumping jacks and squat kicks!!

    This is the week two team challenge. This should be done in addition to your normal workout routine. This is a challenge and is not a replacement! If you need a beginner workout please contact your team captain for ideas.
    Week Two Daily Exercise Challenge
    Daily Exercise = 1 point per member per day. If everyone does it you will be awarded a 5 point bonus for the team!
    WELCOME BACK FROM YOUR DAY OF REST WE’RE STARTING WEEK #2 YOU ARE NO LONGER ROCKSTARS YOU’VE MOVED ON TO BEAST MODE!
    Day 1 Exercise Challenge - 50 Squat Kicks*

    Week Two Weekly Team Challenge
    Each team must coordinate a 100 mile walk, run, jog outside of their normal running jogging. You will to volunteer how much you can walk. If the team does accomplish the 100 mile challenge they will be rewarded with 5 bonus point. In addition to the 100 mile walk each team member must submit their favorite recipe to the group forum, along with the nutritional value. If someone submits your favorite you must find another recipe to submit.
    *Feel free to do these exercises in sets if you are unable to do them all at one time. Please do your best as you are much stronger than you believe.

    Please note each week the exercises will increase in difficulty. This will push each team member. Modifications will be provided for those who unable to complete the exercise as intended.
