Gym newbie 34m - advice/friends wanted

Hey I’m 34, male and I’ve started using the gym. I’m also losing weight but I’m mostly sticking to a good CICO diet for that.
I’m using the gym primarily to gain some more muscle mass as my upper body strength is pretty poor. I’m doing minimum 3 days a week (Push, Pull and Leg days) and I was hoping some people would add me so they could give advice etc on what works for them and for motivational support if you’re up for it. I have a leg day tomorrow.
Read a lot of posts saying people that lost weight wish they had started lifting early so I’m getting in early on it.
Thanks for any adds if they come and messages of encouragement!

Newbies do better on a full-body workout 3 days a week instead of a bro split. You'll get best results following any of the proven programs that you've probably seen mentioned here (Stronglifts, NROL, etc).3

Do an internet search for beginner weight lifting routines. Pick one you think you'd like and do it. If you find you rally don't like that routine, try another. I use Strong Lifts 5x5.0
