How is everyone today?
Completed day 1 of week 3. It was a beautiful Fall afternoon in Texas today, 59F and partly cloudy. Still not setting any speed records, but feeling strong. my 2nd mile split was 13:32, i have a long way to go, but that split was quicker than my splits on a regular flat track that I ran on Sunday. I find it difficult to eat all of my calories on run days. I am 2.6 lbs away from my goal. As I continue training, I expect to keep "LEANING UP". The charts show that the middle of my ideal weight is in the mid 150's. I feel if i get that low, i would look too thin. Maybe not, I will play it as it comes. All the best to you all!

Congrats! You shouldn't even be thinking about setting speed records at this point in your running. Just keep following the program. Make sure you're eating enough to fuel your runs.

How many calories do you think you're burning in a couple of miles of intervals?
