Fit bit and manual entry

I am so confused and looked around here and did not find an answer so I apologize if this has been answered before.
So I wear a Fitbit (no heart rate monitor in it) and a heart rate monitor during spin class...lately the Fitbit is picking up some activity from it but not the full hour...it is a giving me an adjustment but should I still be manually logging it with my calorie burn from my heart rate monitor? Or is this double dipping? I don’t want to disconnect the Fitbit because then I will lose out on the activity through the rest of the day. Any help would be much appreciated!!

Ok so maybe there are a couple useful threads that address this question...I apologize for not looking more closely but where my Fitbit does not pick up an entire spin workout I’m still not sure what to do

Let me preface this by saying that I am not a trainer or a nutritionist, and I have only been working out for about a year and a half. I also don't eat my exercise calories unless I am dying. In my opinion the non-heart rate fit bit is not very accurate. If it's picking up, say half an hour of activity over the course of an hour spin class you can certainly add the rest. I would be concerned about double dipping. YMMV
