an antibiotic question

I've been given 7 days worth of antibiotics. This is a stupid question but will it affect weight loss?

    It would largely depend on which anti-biotic but here's a good article from LiveStrong that talks about some possible side effects. For 7 days I wouldn't really worry too much about it.

    In any case, it wouldn't hurt to make sure you get some yogurt into the diet to help replace the good bacteria the antibotics kill off along with the bad.

    It shouldnt. I was on antibiotics for seven days to and it didnt affect me.
