60 lbs down, 25 to go

I'm not to goal yet but I wanted to share some things that I've found working for me and share my story
I have chronic fatigue and fibromyaglia as well as having BED/being an emotional eater which has made it really hard to workout, eat healthy, and lose weight. I get really sore after a workout because of my fibro and sometimes can barely walk the next day but I push through and I've never felt so strong. Got more to go but I'm healthier than I've ever been and proud of myself for pushing through and getting here. I've been overweight since I was 9 and been trying to lose wight since. I'm now smaller than I was at 10 years old. I would starve myself to lose weight as that was the only way I knew how and then binge and purge so i stayed around the same weight in between 170 and 190. On my 18th birthday I found out I was pregnant. When I had my daughter on Jan 5th I weighed in at 200 lbs and actually gained 15 lbs in the next few months because it was the only way i knew how to nourish myself. In december I went through a hard break up/divorce after finding out he had been with one of my good friends for over a month and lied to me about it for a long time. This gave me the kick in the butt I needed to finally do the thing I'd wanted to do for half my life.
Moderation has been key for me. I've realized if you deprive yourself too much survival and instinct will kick in and you are more likely to overeat or eat anything you can get your hands on. That was the hard lesson for me to learn. It took a literal decade of yo yo dieting and fad diets and losing and gaining the same 10 lbs over and over again to fully realize it. If you are nourishing your body properly and giving it all the nutrients/minerals/vitamins it needs it's a lot easier to have self control and it gets easier the healthier you feel.
I started dating a personal trainer certified in sports medicine and found the love of working out. It took me a couple months of forcing myself to do it even tho it felt awful but i started to feel the change and started to have the dopamine released from it and now i crave the workout. We do a mix of of cardio, HIIT, and strength training. I take plexus every morning to help with cravings/appetite control/energy as well as chromium gtf. I take glysen with every meal which helps with blood sugar and helps a lot with the cravings and feeling like I need food all the time. I used hypnosis at night from YouTube that helped me a lot to feel in control and like I wasn't a slave to food. The combo of both physical and mental/emotional help is what has let me be more in control of the BED. I lost the first half of my weight eating whatever I wanted just counting the calories and staying within limits but I slowly changed the way I ate and evolved to be gluten free, dairy free, and mostly stay away from processed sugar. This helps with the chronic fatigue and fibro, I get a lot less flareups. I also feel like I get more nutrition and so in ways it's easier to eat less. I take l glutamine and malic acid to help with the fibro and the pain from working out. Here's my stats:
height: 5'5
Start weight: 215
current weight: 155
Goal weight: 130
Start Measurements:
Hips: 52 in
Waist:40 in
Bust: 44 in
Current measurements:

You look great! It's nice to see people who find a way to work around fibro (or just bulldoze through as best they can), and learn how to reduce flare ups. I know a few people who use it as an excuse to not do anything. =/
I also love your hair0 -

Thank you so much that's so Sweet! I got it from hot topic haha! Was my reward for getting under 170 which was always the lowest I got before gaining weight again0 -
You look wonderful and this is so motivating to hear! I was thinking of trying some evening hypnosis to help curb my desire to snack - is there a specific YouTube video that you recommend?0

Well done! I have a chronic illness too which limits my activity but am slowly but surely making progress by tracking everything. Like you, I find cutting out sugar, gluten and dairy to be helpful to my overall health. Having a personal trainer as your partner is a great strategy too Good luck with the last 25, I have similar stats to you so it's inspiring to see your success0
