motivation?

i need some good reasons and motivation to actually start eating my maintenance calories! i am eating around 170 too little, not including exercise calories! what are some good reasons i should be eating all of them ?

If you don't eat enough your body thinks it's going to starve. It'll then store everything being completely counter productive. You need a massive chunk of calories just to keep going on a day to day basis!0

Food tastes good . Mind explaining the reason why you aren't eating it in the first place? If its because you are afraid that adding 170 calories will have a detrimental effect on your fat loss, the only thing I would say to that is that when you are eating so few calories will body will usually benefit from increasing them by a bit, mainly by the reasons timjai listed. On the other hand, if you aren't hungry or don't feel the need to eat the extra 170 calories, from you logs you should know by know how little 170 calories looks like in food.
I say do the change, check your results after week. If your results decrease, go back, if they improve, you might even consider adding some more. Repeat every 2-3 weeks0
