Hi! I also hate exercising
few people here recommended c25k app. You exercise 3 times a week for 30 minutes so it is a good start. I just started the other day, today will be my second exercise. You should try it!

That's why you can't do it like that. You can't rely on others to keep you motivated to be healthy. Experiencing how it feels to be healthy, should motivate you to continue your healthy behavior. You also need to find a form of exercise you like, if you're going to keep on exercising.3

A couple of notes here from a longtime app user and lover of exercise:
- You don't need to exercise in order to lose weight; if you just want to drop body mass all you have to do is maintain a calorie deficit. I'm not arguing that you shouldn't exercise, but I don't like how the dieting and fitness industries have traditionally muddied the waters in how to achieve one thing or another.
- I have mixed feelings on the whole concept of forcing yourself to do an exercise you hate. On the one hand, with the diversity of exercise available to us (walking, running, rowing, cycling, swimming, weightlifting, etc., etc.) I'd hope that any given person would eventually be able to find at least one form of exercise they find pleasurable in and of itself. I happen to love running and cycling, but don't particularly enjoy swimming - so in order to do triathlon I push myself through swimming and deal with it. Which brings me to the other half of this point, which is that sometimes it really can be necessary to push through discomfort for your own good. I love deadlifting before and after the big, punishing sets, but on the 3rd or 4th rep I just want to walk away from the bar.
I think once a person starts to see results they're better equipped to push through the unpleasant moments in exercise. That said, as I mentioned I do believe a person should be able to find at least one form of exercise they find genuinely pleasant, provided they're not completely out of shape.2 -
I wish it didnt take too much time to see results so we wouldnt have lost motivation0

I agree with @brendanwhite84. You don't have to exercise to lose weight but it's generally a good healthy practice to do so. If someone is forcing themselves to do exercise or follow a restrictive diet they hate, the less likely they are to do so consistently, short-changing their chances for success. Pure motivation is fickle and only carry you so far. Habit-forming and structured discipline around positive choices (nutrition and/or fitness-based) that fit their lifestyle are key to SUSTAINABLE success.4

Agreeing with and expanding on what @brendanwhite84 said ... I don't love all "Exercise, general" but I do really love specific things.
You can choose:
-indoors or outside
-group or solitary
-gym or at home
So I like...outside, walking, hiking, cycling, and kayaking if given the opportunity. Inside, I do better with a group than by myself, so I joined a gym and I do group fitness. I LOVE indoor cycling and BodyPump, and I also enjoy beginner yoga, cxworx, and tae bo. I'm just starting on a solitary gym exercise - strength training - because I've set new fitness goals.
DVD or online options at home work great for some folks, but not for me, just like some people love to run and I don't enjoy any amount of running for any length of time (despite doing respectably in two 5ks last year). A 70 minute, 3.5 mile walk in my neighborhood is still exercise, and I enjoy it, so I will actually do it, which is really the most important feature in the exercises you try. I do like Yoga with Adriene (youtube) for yoga at home and PopPilates when I want to squeeze in 15-20 minutes of work.
The key for me was accountability. I have to sign up in advance for my gym classes, which in turn makes me more likely to go (I like to think that I am a person who keeps my word). On top of that, I'm now a regular in my five weekly classes, and instructors and fellow participants are looking for me to be there.
Try some stuff, buy Groupons to try classes or training sessions, look for coupons, search youtube or fitness blender for any of the million ways to move your body at home, and have fun. You'll probably find some things you enjoy and that you eventually look forward to doing, and that's how that exercise habit becomes sustainable long-term.
