Recording Water Vs. Tea Drank

I'm new to MFP and have a question. Should I record the tea I drink under water intake or as a separate food item. Always drink it without anything added and enjoy both green tea and chaga tea but wasn't sure where I should be accounting for it. I do drink quite a bit of water every day as well and am following a ketogenic diet plan and drinking Keto//OS every day. Been at it for over a month and have only seen a small drop in weight which is discouraging to me.
Not much of an exerciser as I leave my house at 6:30 every morning and not back home til 5:30 at night and am too tired to exercise then.
Anyway, can someone let me know about how to record the water vs tea question.
Thanks Rebecca

I don't bother to record fluid intake. I drink plenty, in coffee, diet soft drinks, milk, plain water. Then there's the water in the food I eat... It all helps with hydration.
My pee is a "hydrated" colour, that's all I care about.

Yes, you can record tea as water. It's 99.9% water, after all.

Tracking water is only really important if you're not drinking enough/eating enough things with fluids. Look at your pee.

You mentioned that you haven't seen the weight loss you expected/wanted. Keto does not inherently mean weight loss. A calorie deficit is required.

My calorie intake per day is 1,200 calories which I adhere to although there are days that I'm less than that. I've read a lot about the Keto diet plan so thought it might work for me especially since I purchased the Keto//OS powder which says it will put you into ketosis so your body will begin to burn fat instead of glucose. I also purchased the Keto sticks to measure the ketone levels in my body and so far I'm still not in ketosis. I eat very little carbs on a daily basis (15 g or less) and have cut out all white food, i.e. potatoes, rice as well as no pasta, grains or other wheat products.
Just don't understand why I'm not seeing better results since I began this on Oct. 14/17.
Wondering if anyone else is having the same issue if they are following the Keto plan plus with the drinks.
Would love to hear others' results good bad or in between.

Realistically, the water intake measure should be renamed as fluid intake, which is what you really want to track, for the sake of hydration.

Having said that, you can include the volume of any/all 0 cal drinks, when tracking "water" on in the diary.

I record all my liquids like coffee, tea, cashew milk, and diet drinks under my foods for no particular reason since they don't add many calories. Then at the end of the day I count them all and enter it as water and feel OK as long as I reach my usual 6 cups.

You have to be in a calorie deficit regardless of how you choose to eat. You can be in ketosis but still gain weight due to overconsumption.

Are you weighing all solids, measuring all liquids and using accurate database entries to determine your intake?
