What should my calorie goal be?

Hello all,
I have my goal weight loss at 2 lbs per week which gives me 1200 calories per day. The problem is I have a hard time sticking to this and tend to go over my goal, which leads me to avoid logging in the extra. Can I start with a higher calorie goal and then lower it later?
What is a reasonable goal I should start with? I don't want to go too high, and gain or maintain instead of lose...For reference I am a 5'1 female and weigh 194 lbs, with a goal weight of 120-130. Thanks!

Change your rate of loss to 1.5 or even 1 pound a week and you'll get more calories. 1200 calories is the lowest MFP will assign. You won't maintain/gain as long as you're logging everything as accurately as possible.3
