Exercise and no weight loss

I have been walking for 45 mins / day , 5 days a week, moderate pace , for three months... and have not lost a pound. What gives?

Well what else have you been doing? Food scale and measuring everything and logging everything. Do you have MFP setup to show you how many calories you need to eat to lose 1-2lbs a week? There is more to it then walking and hoping it comes off.

Are you tracking your calorie intake? How much you eat dictates weight loss, not ho a crib you are if you eat more to compensate for increased activity, knowingly or not.

How have you been calculating your calories?

Do you weigh all solids and measure all liquids?

Have you input your details into map and gotten your daily calories?

How are you calculating the calories your burning walking and are you eating all those calories back?

You mentioned nothing about counting calories and ensuring you're in a deficit. All the exercise in the world won't help if you don't know or are underestimating how much you're eating.

I agree. Losing weight is 15% exercise and 85% diet. You HAVE to eat less calories than what it takes to maintain your body... deficit of 3500 calories is the loss of a 1 pound. Don't be fooled by the "muscle burns more calories" way of exercising to lose weight.
