30DS in 60 days, thoughts???

hey! I have just started the 30 day shred, I'm pretty unfit so it wasn't that fun! I was thinking of spreading it over 60 days, doing it every second day, for a few reasons. I want to give my muscles a small time to repair, I also do other sports (Netball, walking, cycling) and I don't want to do too much exercise everyday as I don't want to eat all those exercise calories! Also because I'm not in any huge rush to get in perfect shape as I don't want to put too much pressure on myself.. Do u think that I will still get good results as if I did it for 30 consecutive days? I want to lose about 30 pounds!
Any thoughts would be much appreciated

Yes. You will still get amazing results.
Giving your self a rest day in between may even encourage you to push harder because you will be less sore from the day before. I did shred in 48 days and it did wonders for my body!
Stick to your plan. Sounds great!0 -

I was doing 30ds inconsistently because I felt like you do. My body hurt after i did it for 8 minutes the very first day. I couldn't walk up the stairs. I did it about every third day. Once I was able to do the whole 20 min, i realized that I was THAT out of shape and that i am not going to see change unless I push myself. I think once you get more comfortable with level one, you should do it daily.0

There are some people who do 30DS back-to-back days, for me I had to do it every other day yet I did normal cardio on my rest days. Then as I got stronger I would do shred every two days and then cardio for my rest days. Either way, as long as you're doing the video with proper form and execution lasting the entire 20 minutes, you'll do fine, and your appetite for fitness will increase. HTH and good luck in your journey!0
