Transformation Story

After my second son was born, I weighed 254 pounds (having gained eighty pounds during the pregnancy). At four months post partum, I has lost 37 pounds by nursing, monitoring my diet, and not eating after 7 P.M.
Having plateaued at 217 pounds, I decided it was time for a new plan. I began small… With a workout buddy, I worked out 16 minutes a day; 8 minutes of cardio and 8 minutes of stretches. Once a week, my workout buddy and I would discuss our goals, successes, and pitfalls. This helped keep me motivated and accountable. I lost 18 pounds in three months.
Once I plateaued at 199 pounds, I decided it was time to increase my workout time. After working out five times a week for 30 minute increments, I dropped down to 178 pounds.
By this point, I had fallen in love with working out. I had found that I had a passion for it. It was fun! It helped energize me for my day. It rid me of anxiety, depression, boredom, insecurity, and health complications. I couldn’t believe how confident and happy I had become. I didn’t even care that I had plateaued again; that I was still 28 pounds from my goal.
Months later, a friend mentioned to me how proud she was of me for losing so much weight, 76 pounds (in one year). She then shared her story with me and talked me into committing to that same program.
After participating in this program for 3 weeks, I had lost 9 more pounds, 6.6 inches, and 2 pant sizes. No joke!
