Any Keto beginners?

New to Keto and this app and I'm not really sure how to use it just yet. So far I have been able to adjust my goals and enter in the food.

    I'm new to Keto, been using the app for awhile but just started using the message boards and groups.

    Me too! I’ve been doing Keto for almost 2 weeks (minus thanksgiving and a day a Disneyland). I feel kinda unhealthy without the fruit and limited veggies. Breakfast is easy but I’m sort of struggling with what to eat at lunch and dinner

    Not new to KETO - but I try to log everything. Took a break over Thanksgiving so working my way back into Ketosis.

    Me too! Which is crazy because this lifestyle makes me feel amazing. My skin is gorgeous and my energy level is insane!

    Hi, I'm doing keto as well, and I like it. I did it already at the beginning of the year, but stopped during the holiday break. Now I'm getting back into ketosis after 3 month of normal eating. And yes that's hard to start again. Especially because I've to let go of bread. And I love bread.

    Look on the internet, there are a lot of sites giving free advise on how to plan your meals. And as for the veggies. There are so many veggies you may eat. Cauliflower, kale, spinach, champions etc.

  • Hi! I'm new to the boards. New to keto (sorta). I lost weight several years ago cutting carbs, but have gained a lot of weight since I was injured and disabled until a few months ago. I've been using the app a long time, but mostly just to log my weight. I just had a total hip replacement on August 23, and have just started exercising again two weeks ago. I'm hoping that getting on the message board here will keep me motivated!

    I started Keto 4 weeks Ago, took off the week of Thanksgiving which would have been week 5. I did 0 carbs for first 10 day’s only drank water or green tea. I ate only chicken , eggs , steak and pork chops . Then kept carbs under 20 after first ten days, Kept my total calories at 1000 a day . Exercised 5 days a week and lost 17 pounds in a 28 day period. Going for a total of 40lbs weight loss. 23 more to go. I’m doing 28 days on Ketosis at a time . Then taking week 5 off but still making wise nutrition choices. But You got to have a Slice of Pizza every once in a while!
