Hi everyone!! I've been messing around this web page for the last couple of days and finally decided to introduce myself........I've always struggled with my weight so I'm hoping with this website AND my new weight loss buddies I can achieve success this time around!!

I began my weight loss journey THIS time on 1/5/09 and though the weight loss is coming off slowly it IS coming off so I'm happy!! I've decided to try the SouthBeach way of eating so hopefully THIS will be the time I FINALLY reach my goal weight!!

    I can tell you that I was completely stalled in my weightloss attempts. I have been working out every day (running 5-6 miles per day, weight lifting and eating healthy), but was doing little more than gaining and losing water weight. This went on for several months.

    Although I knew this was a case of not eating enough, I still had no idea what to do with that. I had no where to turn - nutritionists, tests, endless conversations and reading - to no avail. I then began to think perhaps I was going through peri-menopause or the 40 year old thing, and that there would be nothing I could do. One day, I happened upon this web site.

    I have lost 10 pounds since January 26, 2009. I have such a hard time believing it that I keep getting on the scale just to see if it will change.

    This site will give you support and information and everyone has the same goal in mind. The people on this site are perhaps the best people I've never met. They are quick to respond, non-judgmental and loaded with helpful tips and tricks to get you through your day.

    I would also like to mention that I did not change what I ate too much. I do not deprive myself, I do not pass things up. I make adjustments. It's heavenly!

    Hello and welcome to MFP, you will love this site. It is so helpful, supportive and very motivational. The people here are so nice and are very willing to be helpful. I love this site. I just wanted to tell you that I hope you have good luck on your weight loss journey. You can do this.
