How rude of them2

That's very rude, but you gain weight through consistent overeating, not as a direct effect of the insults. Maybe you don't know this (many people don't) - it's a lot easier to not eat something than to work off the calories. Exercise to lose weight or for penance isn't really effective. So I would focus on eating less instead. Exercise can help manage stress, though, and it's good for health, all over.7

This kind of crap is why I encourage people to be professionally courteous rather than chummy at work. I think the latter encourages too much stupid chatter and rudeness. Go to work, do your job, and don't stand around discussing your coworkers' bodies.6

Your coworkers are rude.4

Start reporting them to HR. No one should ever put up with that garbage.3

I’m sure you’ve heard the advice of people saying, “Don’t listen to them, you know your worth.” Or, “Man, your coworkers are rude.” Or, “Girl your progress will prove them wrong.” Or, “They need to keep their comments to themselves because you’re killing it.” Our society has made us believe that it matters what others think of us. The truth is, it doesn’t. It’s really that simple. You know that you’re working towards a better you. It may happen slower/faster than another person. Every body is different. The fact that they are your coworkers makes their statements extremely inappropriate. There are things you can do if you feel you need to. It may not require you talking to a supervisor/boss. You could just tell these people, in the moment, that you’re *kitten* is just that, YOUR *kitten*. It’s none of their concern. I’d start there. If you’re not comfortable doing that, then go to your boss/supervisor to help deal with the situation. Either way, we’re on this journey together. Feel free to add me. I could use some motivational, awesome, caring friends on here!3

My boss just came in while I was eating peanuts and told me I should be eating carrots instead. I just laughed and showed her the 2.5kg bag of chocolate I bought for Christmas baking today...3

Yes, while that may be rude, it could also be a compliment! There is nothing wrong with having some more junk in the trunk!3

I hope that you had a good workout at the gym. It's such a stress reliever, so good for our health and even good-habit forming! keep it up!0

You should simply say that " I can lose my *kitten*, but you will always be a huge *kitten* with a side of hole"

A smaller you is not a better you.

Rude comments from coworkers never stop.... Once you lose the weight, then they start calling you a "skinny *kitten*" and telling you that you're not eating enough.... Headphones are my friend at work most days2

people are twats... people are rude... ignore them
but don't be disappointed by the results you didn't get from the work you didn't do.6 -
How very rude of them!
I remember years ago one of my co workers saying something similar to me, boy did that hurt! I could have retorted back to him and what about his 7 bellys? but I didn't. I don't know why people think they have a right to be so blunt/rude/cheeky. Flamin' gets my goat!0 -
I would have told them it’s just more for them to kiss! You are beautiful no matter what! You got this!2
