Thursday Mini Challenge

Here it is folks, the day I been telling you about. You got your cards ready?
Today's challenge is: Push-ups
Let's see if we can do a deck of cards
Heres the rules:
Shuffle the cards good.
Throw down 2 cards and total them up
Do that many push-ups
Take a break if needed and repeat until all cards are used.
Jack is 11
Queen is 12
King is 13
Ace is 14.
You can do them any style you want and you have until midnight to get them done.
Since wall push-ups are allowed everyone should be able to do the entire deck.
The important thing is that you try to do it.
Make sure you stretch and have fun doing them.
Report back when you are done and let us know how you did.

If I understand this, you are asking for 416 push-ups. (16*6 + 8 per suit and then times 4 suits). I can feel the ache already, but I WILL TRY.0

I AM DONE. I chose to do wall push-ups because I figured there was no way I could do this many regular push-ups. I found out i could maybe have done 1/2 regular push-ups. I did about 100 (102) regular push-ups in the mix. Next time , I will increase that number. Where did I feel the pain (in my wrists) and the burn (in my upper arms - of course). Thanks for a maxi mini challenge.0

That's a really rough workout. We do something similar to that in my boot camp, but we do four different exercises. (Hearts is always burpees. Ugh.)0

I do realize it's a lot. I also realize that the most you will do at any one time is 28 and with flipping out the cards and adding them up you get mini breaks all the way through, YOU CAN DO THIS!!0 -
I'm scared! :sad: But I'm willing to try. I like the card idea. That way I can do it throughout my day as I am cleaning house.0

Okay, I think I can, think I can, think I can... Crap! I did 40 REGULAR pushups so far! Charger--you should really know what that means for me!Dang 10 of hearts and 10 of spades AND then a Jack and a nine!!! :sad: I will work on the rest, but no promises on doing them as REGULAR pushups. I will mix it up with girlie and wall ones.

Done! 20 regular, 40 girlie and 80 wall... but no breaks in between, my arms feel like spaghetti noodles!! I couldn't find any cards... so I just did as many as I could correctly, as fast as possible.I'll be happy that I did that many and maybe try some more later. Not so happy that I did my make up before this!!!0

There is no set way to do these. Just do them any way you can. The point of this challenge was to get you to do all you can do, hopefully pushing you to the limit while giving you breaks in between to that your not overly taxed. Do them any style or combination of styles you want.0

Well charger did I say this would be fun! what was I thinking only i could pull the king and ace!! lol However I did 175 girly push ups and thats as many as my body can take! it was fun doing them though as you don't realise how many you are doing till you count them up at the end!! see I'm still smiling!

50 regular (boy-pushups) + 25 triangle pushups + 341 wall pushups = 416 pushups completed! :happy: Charger, you killed me today! My arms are still shaking!!! I LOVE it!0

I got mine done. All of them were regular style and I even did 4 extra to make it 420. That's A LOT!!
