Garmin Vivomove HR - Calories Remaining Doesn't Match, please help!

Options
I just made the switch from Fitbit to Garmin, Vivomove HR. I completed my diary for today in MFP and while MFP's app says -185 remaining, Garmin says I have 443 remaining. Quite the difference, I have been traveling and only burned 109 calories in quick workout this morning.

MFP

Goal: 1200
Food: 1494 + Exercise: 109
Remaning: -185

Garmin using MFP data:
Goal: 1,200
Food: -1,494
Active: +737 (includes BMR)
Remaining: 443
(Calculated: 1,937 adjusted goal - 1,494 consumed = 443 remaining)

I believe the issue may be that Garmin uses the MFP Goal Calories as a Net Calories for the day - but I'm not certain. Any ideas?

First off, have you connected it to mfp? Next, when you do, I think it only adds calories to mfp if you burned more than the expected amount from the activity level you set mfp for. Thirdly, how are you getting your numbers from the garmin? Mine shows calories and active calories, and when you look at the mfp part it shows goal-active=calories, and calories-food=calories remaining, not how you are reporting it up there at all.

Garmin, Fitbit etc never have accurate calories so just ignore. Use a TDEE calculator to calculate your calories to include exercise and stick with that
