Hey, everyone! Just stopping in to see if anyone would like to be friends. I am looking at making many changes in my life, not just my eating and exercise habits. I would like to do the JM 30 day, but not sure where I can get it in my town. If you have any ideas, please let me know. Well, I need a short nap before work, so I better get off here. Hope everyone has a great day, and feel free to add me! I will have a pic up tomorrow, and really hoping to find some people that can help keep me accountable. Have a good day!

good luck to you! As for the JM workouts, they are available at Target or Walmart for around 10 bucks. I have done 30DS in the past (didn't stick with it though) and I'm about to start 6W6P, this time with way more motivation than I've ever had before. Feel free to add me if you'd like so that we can motivate each other. Happy losing!

Hey! Glad to be friends on here :) I've done the 30 Day Shred and it's AWESOME. You can get the DVD really cheap on amazon.com, and Amazon Instant Video (if it wouldn't be inconvenient to watch on your computer) for only a couple bucks each stage! Good luck :)

    Hey newcomers, Welcome!!!
I did the 30DS and loved it. My arms had muscles under the flab - who knew? I lost about 6 inches in my waist too. I just started the Ripped in 30 DVD and, eh, not liking it as much as the Shred. Still a great workout though.

The best advice I can give you is to get a heart rate monitor!!! Yes, this website does give you an estimated calorie burn, but I like my monitor because it's strapped to me, it's more accurate.

    Also, these might help:
NSV - Non Scale Victory - Something that is not reflected on the scale, like not having to stretch out your clothes, running for 5, 10, 30 minutes straight.

MFS - My Fitness Pal, duh!

When someone "bumps" a post, they want to read it later. When you rely to a post, it is saved in your "My topics" so you can return to it later.

Hmmmm, I think those are the three biggies that people get confused about.
    Happy losing! :drinker:
