I workout at 430AM every day and I aim to have some carbs pre (banana or couple rice cakes usually) and then something with carbs and protein right after. I don't like to be full when I lift but get some carbs in for energy. Hope that helps!1

I workout 5 days a week starting around 6 am. I always eat breakfast first. My first post breakfast snack is usually by 8 am.0

When cutting I find that my workouts suffer if I don't eat breakfast before. During maintenance phases or when I'm bulking I prefer eating afterwards.0

Personally I need to eat before my workouts for my best performance. Not too much but something0

Myself If I am working out in the AM I just have a banana and a yogurt then I eat protein when I get back..0

Unless it's going to be a particularly long run, I always eat after. I find it more comfortable to run on an empty stomach.0

I workout at 5 am and always do it on an empty stomach.2

After...unless going for a long run before grocery shopping, then I have my coffee and a snack first0

I work out at 5:15, eat breakfast around 7.0

Sometimes before, sometimes after, sometimes both. Sometimes neither before or after.2

I wake up at 6 and start working out by 6:10, I usually don't wake up hungry. I drink some chocolate milk on the drive in, get to work at 8 and eat oatmeal there. If I eat first I feel like I'll puke. Plus it feels like it really weighs me down. I don't think its strange that other people eat first though- you need to figure out what works for you.0

Depends on your time and relative dimensions in space....
Unless I'm going hard for two hours plus then workouts just fit in my day.
Breakfast (as in eating early in the morning for the pedants out there!) is completely optional for me, I've got plenty of fuel on-board already and it doesn't affect my training performance either way.1 -

Ok got it.. thanks for the info..0 -
I eat before. Most studies would tell you to eat before as well to give those muscles energy. Plus that food will help be a fuel to burn more after you're done with your workout.2

I run at 4:45 am. I don't eat anything until around 10am.0

If working out in the morning I will always eat afterwards1

It depends how you feel with doing either one. I get stomach cramps if i eat too soon before, so I don't eat breakfast before. If I am working out in the late morning my breakfast is 2-3 hours before.1

I workout in the morning. I eat a boiled egg and a Ucan (carb bar) before. And a some kind of protein after.1

I eat breakfast after my morning workout. I make a protein shake with 2 scoops of protein, peanut butter, benefiber, banana, and coffee sometimes.0

I eat at 6am - apple and Quest bar. I don't really eat a lot of dinner so I'm usually pretty hungry in the morning.
I workout from about 7:15 am to 8:30 am, both cardio and strength training.
Then, I try to eat another Quest bar by no later than 10 am.0 -
I was taught to eat after the workout because you're breaking the muscle down then you have a twenty minute window that the protein helps build the muscle1

I usually workout around 8:30AM and don't eat until after 12 Noon.
It's 1:25 PM today and I'm having my first meal.0 -
I eat breakfast before I work out.0
