Hello
Not sure how all this works, but here I go...

I've been in an accident and my body is broken. I have gained more and more weight and are having an impossible time trying to loose weight.
Biggest problem is that I'm sedentary. I work out my upper body 2 times a week, but nothing like I used to.

I'm still getting surgeries, but I know that my recovery will not work without me loosing 55lbs...

I'm 52yrs old and 265lbs.....if I can bring my weight down, I know I can walk unassisted again.

I need support, in the way of motivation and monitoring. If I have to answer to someone I know I'll keep with it. If I do it on my own....well I'm 265lbs do I have to say anymore....

My name is Angel and due to a motor vehicle accident my body is broken.

    I wish you the best, Angel. I'm so glad you keep saying your body is broken, not you. Sounds like your mind is strong and sound and ready to win this battle. I know you'll be able to win your battle with weight and get back on track. The step to start tracking with MFP was a very wise one. This is a very encouraging place to be.

    I'm sorry you are dealing with all of that. You can lose weight by maintaining a calorie deficit. Good luck on your journey and don't give up.
