Calorie adjust / exercise

I have been sticking to my calorie intake of 1220 a day. I have lost 5lb so far and I am aiming for a stone in total. My question is should I adjust my calorie intake according to the amount of physical activity I do, or do I stick to the 1220. Thanks in advance

1,220 is very low. How did you get that goal and does it already account for your exercise?0

Yes - that's the way this site and your goal works but with the caveat that your activity setting and exercise are two separate entities so what exactly are you meaning by "physical activity"?0

1220 was the goal set by mfp when I put in my weight/height/age ect. By physical activity I mean swimming /cardio/jogging I'm active every day, swim 4 times a week gym 3 and walk between 4-8 miles a day. Looking to lose a stone andntone up in general and improve overall fitness

Yes, since your goal comes from MFP you should be eating back at least some of your exercise calories. It's how MFP is designed. When you set up your goals, you provided your activity level. This activity level should include your daily non-exercise activity. MFP gives you a goal based on that, so it's not considering any exercise at all.
If your goal is very low (and yours is), it's even more important to account for your physical activity in some way.1 -

Please fuel your exercise properly! Doing all that on a tiny calorie allowance isn't sustainable for long.
Just like you will have to when you get to goal weight and want to maintain - learn the skill of estimating your exercise expenditure now.0 -

With only 9 pounds left to lose you should be aiming to lose 0.5lb per week.
And eat back your exercise cals.0 -
Thanks guys. I must admit I felt a bit wobbly last week so took 2 days off exercise. I just wasn't sure about eating extra, though i had to stick to the limit.c

Bump for only losing 0.5 lb/week with 9 lbs to lose. Worth noting that some find that the estimates for exercise calories are too generous eating back 100% of their exercise calories negates their deficit too much but that's not a hard and fast rule. Monitor intake and weight once if you choose to make this change and adjust accordingly if you see your weight loss stall.0
