    You never know. I wore mine for a year past when I should have.

    When I was married, working as a car mechanic, I never wore mine after it got crushed and had it conduct electricity from batter to car frame.

    Luckily, no permanent or serious damage. But, a lot of people don't realize how dangerous jewelry can be.
