My story is I was 196-198 for 20 yrs, I was very thin untill I gained 75lbs with my first child & 60 each time with the other 3 & was never able to lose all the wt.I tried all kinds of things to lose wt, even getting the pig urine injections way back when, but none worked so I learned to like & accept myself. I didn't think I can lose wt because, I ate "healthy" rarely had fast food, only drank water & coffee, I love potato chips but bought a bag every 2 weeks, had sweets once in a while, hardly ate bread, ate mostly twice a day & went to the gym & had a very active job on my feet all day with a lot of walking. SO whats up?? it must be hormones & I CAN'T lose wt!! I came across mfp a few yrs ago but within a week, I started to get computer virus every time I logged on so I quit & didn't really know much about calorie counting anyway, so June of 2016, a friend lost 70lbs on a similar site.So I came here & started counting calories. I was so amazed how many cal some of the foods I ate regularly were, like rice which I had almost every day. I started counting & losing wt. I never knew much about calories before. There must be many more like me, who don't know about CICO. If I'd known years ago, I would have done it then. I eat many times a day now (including snacks)& discovered so many foods I never ate, as I don't "love" food & ate mostly the same things every day, including veggies but I put them in with chicken & rice in a yummy stew like dish with different flavorings, like cream cheese a lot & I ate a lot more in those 2 meals than I do in 6
