I am working out 5 days a week for 60 minutes but I am making sure I am eating all my calories and an extra 350 since I am breastfeeding my 5 month old. I have a bit to lose and want to lose it slow and effectively so I am going to keep it off and not kill my supply for babes.
Anyone else not trying to pull big numbers each week? I am going to enjoy seeing the change in my body and energy levels from the exercise instead of the scale.

as much as I would love to lose 15 pounds a day...LOL I started with 2 pounds a week and platued...changed it to 1.5 pounds and hit a big slow down...changed to 1 pound a week...will see how it goes from there...my body is having a love affair with the fat that has come to live with me......I think you are making a very wise choice...0

It's not healthy to lose more than 2lbs a week anyway I'm definitely sticking to the 1lb a week because it's something that is definitely attainable when you work at it. As someone who's breastfeeding, you definitely need to take it slow. No need to rush it! Good luck!0

They say losing more then 3 lbs a week can give you some serious loose skin, if you're trying to lose a lot of weight. So I'm good with the tortoise. Unless someone has a wand that can just give me the body I had 15 years ago--that could work too.0

I'm set a a half pound per week and it gives me alot of calories to enjoy and also play around with. Not so tight as the whole 1200 cal thing.
slow is definitely better, your muscles will stick around and you will lose fat. Most important now is your CUTE baby!
