Eat foods that you like in portion sizes that fit your goals.
Get plenty of fats & protein for health and satiety.
Get plenty of fruits & veggies for the micronutrients.
Fill in the rest of your calories with carbs, sweets, and treats as you see fit.
You may find as you progress that there are some foods you don't consider worth the calories, but that's going to be highly individual. Start logging for a few days and make changes as you go along until you find what works best for you.
Some low calorie foods I incorporate include veggies (broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, onions, celery, beans, tomatoes, mushrooms, bell peppers, etc), fruits (berries, apples, oranges, etc), meats (chicken, shrimp, ground beef or turkey tend to be staples for me). I eat a lot of stir fry and soups, taco bowls, pasta, chili, curry, sandwiches, Greek yogurt.
Honestly, the possibilities are endless. It might help to know what you like to eat or if you have any kinds of restrictions.
I get recipes from places like https://www.budgetbytes.com, pinterest, or http://www.hungry-girl.com. There are tons of other recipe sites online.
