Bloated stomach troubles

I've been working out and eating pretty healthy under or equal to 1200 calories per day. I've been focusing on cardio because I have an apple shape and most of the fat is in my stomach which has a bloated appearance. It's been almost 2 months and I've lost 8 lbs but my stomach still looks the same and is bloated. . Does anyone have any suggestions?

You are making good progress. However, I will point out that choosing only cardio specifically due to your build is not wise. Resistance exercise is a must if you want to maintain muscle and improve body composition, which is your fat to lean ratio.

Also, stomach fat is notoriously slow to go. If you are an apple shaped woman be prepared to feel like it comes down to the last 5 lbs.

Does your stomach hurt and/or have digestion problems?

Fat is not the same thing as bloated.

This is what I was thinking too. Are you bloated, or do you carry fat around your middle? Because those are two different things.

Thank you all for your replies that was helpful! @kimny72 and @Orphia that's is something I'm trying to figure out... I feel like it's a combination of both fat and bloat/digestion problems. It definitely takes me awhile to digest food after I eat and I sometimes burp a lot (I know gross) after I eat which I think I because I swallow too much air.. idk! I've just tried eating more slowly and making burr I it upright after I eat and drinking tons of water.

It will get smaller as your weight goes down. Keep up the good work.

Are you certain you don't have body image issues?
