Log your workout?

I’m really wanting to see the scale move. Do I log my workout? It adds so many calories to eat...I’m thinking I need to keep at 1500 even with my hour workout. So should I not add it to my diary?
Thanks!

    It's up to you.

I always did, lost weight right on track. That's the way this site is supposed to be used.

    Here:

Depends on the workout. But, if you do sustained cardio for any appreciable time, you should add some calories.

You are describing how this program is intended to work (and it does work if done properly) but.....

    What is a "workout"?
    What are "so many calories"?
How are you estimating those calories?

It is the way this tool is designed. That said, there is a very good chance that your calorie burn from your workout is inflated...often by a lot. I would check whatever burn your getting from the database to other sources...some people just arbitrarily cut it in half, but if you're willing to take the time you can usually dial it in fairly well.

When I was losing, I logged my workouts and ate back a portion of my running calories. I never ate back lifting calories because they're so minimal...to me, they accounted for any discrepancies in logging for the week.
