Ive had this for awhile now and still dont know how to add people haha. So please add:)

    Click in a persons icon. It sgold bring up a page where you can message or ignore them. Click on the icon again and it should bring up a logo of a message envelope and people. Click on tbe people abd you can invite to be your friend :) Good luck
